Ebony was a smart energetic and happy girl. Wise beyond her years. She enjoyed drawing, reading, dogs and spending time with her Forever Family. She always saw the good in people and situations. While enduring countless procedures, tests and appointments she never lost her faith in God and her giggle was contagious. Her smile could light up and fill a room as well as change someone's day. Ebony was a blessing to anyone she met and was the greatest earthly gift God could have given me, with a heart as pure as gold. Shining brightly for Him. We will never know how many lives she impacted. Her sweet spirit touched so many lives. She is now an Angel on my shoulder.
Our journey began so quickly, we did not have the time or knowledge of what to pack in our always ready hospital bags. As time drew near, Ebony and I talked about "paying it forward" by helping other families with what we had come to know. No matter what was dealt Ebony's way, she handled it with faith and her beautiful smile. I know I cannot help with the medicine, however, we can ease some of the waiting time by allowing familes to keep smiling and making memories.

We just wanted to stop and say thank you for the bags. We appreciated all the nice words and prayers! The thought behind this is amazing and completely touches our hearts. We are so very thankful for all the support.
2) FROM A STAFF MEMBER FROM THE PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY CLINIC
Oh my gosh the bags are so adorable! I'm sure Ebony is giggling from heaven watching how excited the kids are when they receive them. The new diagnosis bags for the child and caregiver are just amazing! Beautiful, beautiful! One caregiver was overwhelmed with joy in getting the special gift from a mom that understands how she's feeling. Thank you for all your families hard work in making Ebony's wish come true. She is loved and she'll never be forgotten!
3) FROM BETH ANN - EBONY'S MOM
So today at work I had on my "Energized by Ebony" sweatshirt. A guy came in as he does most Friday afternoons and asked: "What is Energized by Ebony?" I told him it is the foundation I am doing in honor of my daughter (showed him her picture I have on my desk). When I sat her picture back down I looked up at him and he had tears running down his face. He said he was having a gloomy day and my sharing made him realize just how blessed he is. I love Ebony Ann and the fact that she can still have an impact on people with her beautiful smile! FYI, I was also in tears.
4) FROM A FORMER NURSE OF EBONY
Ebony’s former nurse : “Thinking about you and Ebony yesterday. Don’t ever think we forget any of our little ones. They will always be remembered. The joy you have brought the kids and the parents over this last year is awesome. A new mom stated that she was so touched that you are able to give back like that. Thank you for all your help, it really means a lot.”
